Most surgeons (and everyone else in the OR) prefer listening to music during surgery. The key here is nothing too expensive, because it's easy to forget/lose stuff in the hospital, so a cheaper speaker means they won't be too heartbroken if it does get lost! Custom Badge Reel
There are so many cute or funny badge reels out there these days. Most people won't buy them for themselves, but are happy to receive one! When choosing the clip in the back, alligator clips are more secure than belt clips. I've seen colleagues wear badge reels customized with their kids or pets faces ($10). Not gonna lie, I wouldn't mind one of my kitty Hudson.
High Quality Scrub Hat
Okay, a little self-promotion here. But as someone who wears a scrub hat most days of the week, I'm reeeally proud of the fit and quality construction of our hats. We have hats for specialties like anesthesiology or OB/Gyn -- and most importantly, for Taylor Swift fans :)

I may have saved the best for last. These are sooo useful for busy days in the OR! I can't tell you how many times my colleagues and I have Doordash'ed dinner, boba, etc!
